This video explains your Intrinsic Foot Muscles to help you to develop an understanding of the large number and variety of muscles in your feet and what you can do to relive bunions and flat feet.

When the main foot muscle becomes weak the big toe starts to fall across into the index toe and into the valgus position. And coupled with this you get rolling pronation or flattening of the foot. The outcome is inflammation around the knuckle of the big toe.

So what we want to do is to strengthen this muscle to build the strength and the ability to move the big toe outwards back into its more normal position.
