Intrinsic Foot Strengthening

Start standing with your feet hip-width apart.

You are going to use your big toes and your other toes individually. Do this exercise one foot at a time.

Press your big toe down into the floor and then try to lift the other four toes up off the floor. Hold these toes up as high as you can for 30 seconds. Now do the other foot.

Now got the opposite way around by pressing the four toes down into the floor and raising your big toe. Lift you big toe as high as you can while still keeping the other toes anchored to the floor. Hold this for 30 seconds then repeat with the other foot.

Next squeeze all the toes together while still anchoring all of them to the floor. Hold this for 30 seconds and then repeat with the other foot.
